Airport to city: How to get from Incheon to Seoul

The quick decision

AREX train

Best when your destination connects easily from Seoul Station, Hongik University or another stop on the line.

Airport bus

Best when it stops close to your hotel and you have large luggage.

Taxi

Best for door-to-door travel, very late arrivals, small groups sharing the fare or travelers who need the least walking.

AREX: express or all-stop

The Express Train runs between the airport and Seoul Station with reserved seating. The all-stop train serves more stations and may be more convenient for western Seoul or subway transfers. Check the last departure, terminal station and current fare on the official airport or rail site.

Airport limousine buses

Airport buses serve major hotel and neighborhood corridors. Search by destination on the Incheon Airport bus page, then confirm the terminal, stop number and last departure. A route that stops near your hotel can be easier than a train plus two transfers.

Taxis and late arrivals

Use the official taxi stand and follow airport signs. Show the Korean address and confirm whether tolls or special taxi categories affect the final price. If your flight lands late, check operating hours before assuming a train or bus will still be available.

If you land at Gimpo

Gimpo Airport is much closer to central Seoul and connects to several urban rail lines. Recalculate from Gimpo rather than following an Incheon transfer guide.
